Juror’s Statement:
The 2025 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition presents a dynamic showcase of artwork created by women in Raleigh, NC. The pieces in this collection share a common thread of transformation, with artists reinventing materials and exploring the possibilities of imagery.

Each artwork invites us into a unique world. We see works that explore the alchemy of materials, using process as the narrator to tell a unique story. Metaphor emerges as a prominent voice in many pieces, as artists guide their imagery in imaginative and thought-provoking directions. Additionally, other works explore the potential of objects and place, uncovering untold narratives. Throughout the exhibition, we are encouraged to engage with a diverse range of materials and themes, creating rich spaces where anything is possible.

This collection of work by Meredith students celebrates expression and storytelling. It offers us the opportunity to experience a wide spectrum of emotions and ideas. The exhibition provides a compelling glimpse into the perspectives of women artists in Raleigh, highlighting their creative voices and unique viewpoints.
